The Indian subsidiary of Audi announced that India-born Balbir Singh Dhillon, its head of dealer development, will replace Rahil Ansari as the head of Audi India from September 2019. Ansari will move to Audi’s headquarters in Germany, and assume the role of Senior Director, Central Sales Controlling (Global). [Autocar]

An experienced automotive professional, Dhillon joined Audi India for his second stint in July 2018 and brings with him 23 years of automotive experience. [BusinessLine]

The move comes at a time when its sales have been in a downward spiral, declining from over 11,000 units in 2015 to less than 6,500 last year. [Times Of India Business]
